International photo contest winners announced

“The Lookout,” by Meredith Hammans


Meredith Hammans, a lab assistant in the NHS University Hospital
diagnostic center, has been named the grand-prize winner in the second
annual International Photography Contest at UNMC.

The contest was sponsored by the department of international studies
and programs. All of the photo entries can be viewed at the department
Web site at http://www.unmc.edu/isp.

Photos on display

The photos also are on display in the IS&P office in Annex 4 at 38th Avenue and Leavenworth Street. They will be on display until the 2003 winners are selected a year from now.

Hammans’ photo was titled “The Lookout” and was taken in Bhaktapur, Nepal.
