Kiewit Corporation is continuing to do concrete work in the area of the med center, with the latest starting Monday, March 31. The work, which is expected to last four weeks, will result in temporary lane closures along 44th Street and Dewey Avenue, as seen in the map below.
The Nebraska Medicine emergency department will remain accessible from 44th Street during this work. Signage will be placed to alert drivers. Dewey Avenue, by the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center dock, will be reduced to one lane.
This is investigative work by Kiewit to locate underground utilities to pinpoint their exact location, size and quantity in preparation for future site work of Project Health.
