Sarah Fischer, PhD, an assistant professor from the UNMC Department of Psychiatry, will present “Understanding Procrastination and Conquering Your To-Do List” at the next Olson Center Brown Bag.
Everyone puts off tasks from time to time, but when procrastination becomes an enduring pattern, it can increase people’s stress levels and make it more difficult to make progress toward their goals. In this discussion, Dr. Fischer will review what makes procrastinating such a difficult habit to change, the types of situations that can trigger a desire to procrastinate and ways to manage task lists effectively and without self-criticism.
This virtual event is on Tuesday, March 18, from noon to 1 p.m.
To attend, register through Engage or contact the Olson Women’s Health Resource Center by email or call 402-559-6345.
