Beginning next week, staff members will have the opportunity to vote – and elect – the inaugural UNMC Staff Advisory Council.
Online voting will run Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, for the 32-member council, which will act in an advisory capacity to the chancellor, campus administration and other university groups on behalf of all staff.
Staff who started on or prior to July 1, 2024, are eligible to vote. Vote for the inaugural council members here or – once the “voting booth” opens – via the email that will be sent directly to eligible voting staff from the UNMC Staff Advisory Council account.
Individuals who are elected will serve a three-year term of April 2, 2025, through June 30, 2028. Council service time of elected staff members shall be counted toward normal work hours.
