UNMC Human Resources invites all Omaha UNMC employees to celebrate National Employee Appreciation Day at the You Are a Star event on Thursday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Truhlsen Campus Events Center.
This event, sponsored by the UNMC Chancellor’s Office, is part of the quarterly celebrations hosted by human resources to show appreciation for employees’ hard work and dedication.
While National Employee Appreciation Day falls on the first Friday of March each year, UNMC Human Resources is hosting this celebration a day early to give everyone a chance to join in the fun.
Attendees can expect boxed sandwich lunches from Jason’s Deli, giveaways, a popcorn station, 360 photo booth and more. Giveaways, food and drinks will be available while supplies last.
Employees will be asked to badge in at the event, so employees should bring their UNMC employee ID badge.
Volunteers are needed to make this event a success. Those interested in volunteering can contact UNMC Human Resources for more info and to sign up.
