42nd Street concrete work creates temporary lane shifts

Crews from Kiewit Corporation are working along 42^nd Street, resulting in some temporary lane shifts for traffic.

During the next four weeks, Kiewit will be working along 42^nd Street between Farnam Street and Dewey Avenue. They will not block north and southbound traffic, but some of their work may result in temporary lane shifts, marked by orange barriers.    

This is investigative work by Kiewit to locate underground utilities to pinpoint their exact location, size and quantity. This work is tied to the upcoming projects that will begin along 42^nd Street later this spring/early summer.
