UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited to join Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, on Thursday, Feb. 13, for his all-campus forum, which will include conversations on UNMC’s work with inventors, investors and entrepreneurs.
The all-campus forum will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Sorrell Center, Room 2018. The forum also will be available via Zoom. The forum link can be found on the campus intranet.
Dr. Davies will be joined by two guests:
- Rod Markin, MD, PhD, executive director of UNeTech, Omaha’s only university-affiliated entrepreneurial support organization housed jointly under the University of Nebraska at Omaha and UNMC.
- Michael Dixon, PhD, president and CEO of UNeMed, the technology transfer and commercialization office for UNMC and UNO and future occupant of the Catalyst building in the EDGE District.
Drs. Markin and Dixon will highlight their team’s collaborative work, vision and impact, and answer questions. In addition, Dr. Davies will provide a variety of campus updates and take questions.
Attendees may ask questions during the forum or submit them in advance by emailing the UNMC Strategic Communications team.
An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
