Campus to celebrate Lunar New Year

The med center is invited to a Lunar New Year Celebration on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 11:30 am.-1 p.m., in the Truhlsen Events Center in the Sorrell Center.

Performances will start at noon. The event is open to UNMC students, staff and faculty and the Nebraska Medicine community.

Complimentary food will be available for the first 150 attendees, and giveaways for the first 200. Food is provided by China Buffet and Mongolian Grill/Asian Market.

Interactive tables include beverage tasting, Chinese calligraphy and paper cutting, Ddakji, Gourd-Crab-Fish-Tiger Game, origami, Gonggi and trivia about New Year traditions.
