The UNMC Department of Anesthesiology has released its annual report – an homage to the many accomplishments of the department’s faculty, house staff and dedicated nurse anesthetists.
The report highlights multiple new leaders, faculty and staff members, clinical division updates and the department’s significant contributions to the educational and research missions.
In addition to updates from each division, the report features stories highlighting the year’s accomplishments, a list of publications and other information.
In his message to open the report, Mohanad Shukry, MD, PhD, said it has been a privilege and an honor serving as the department’s interim chair.
“Our department’s success is a testament to our collective efforts, and I am inspired by the unwavering commitment of our entire team,” Dr. Shukry said. “Please enjoy this year’s annual report and join me in celebrating the outstanding accomplishments that define our department.”
