At the beginning of the 2025 spring semester, a new student printing platform will be available. The new platform will offer students the ability to upload print requests when on and off the campus network and enhance the security of the platform.
UNMC Information Technology included the UNMC College of Nursing’s Norfolk and Scottsbluff Divisions in the student printing platform, and the Omaha, Lincoln and Kearney campuses use this platform.
UNMC has upgraded to new printers and will use Papercut Secure Print. This means users will need their badge to retrieve prints from a printer.
Students can print to any of the student printer locations directly from their device or a UNMC-issued PC or mac.
Starting Jan. 1, a printing quota of $50, provided by UNMC, will be available to students for the calendar year. For more information on how to check a printing quota status, add credits or view transaction history and recent print jobs, visit the student printing website.
