How I fell in love with ambulatory care: My first exposure to ambulatory care during an introductory pharmacy experience was all I needed to know this was the area of pharmacy for me. What I enjoy most about ambulatory care is the time I get to spend with patients educating them on their chronic disease states and proper medication use. It is truly a joy getting to implement positive change during our visits and empower my patients with the tools to better their health.

Three things people may not know about me:

• I love volleyball. I played for four years during pharmacy school, play in the sand now and follow the college and professional levels closely. I’m excited to start following the Nebraska volleyball scene.
• I come from a huge sports family that includes my mom (former volleyball coach), dad (softball coach and 2022 Indianapolis Colts Fan of Year), uncle (former sports newscaster) and brother (sports information director).
• You can find me at a concert, trying new restaurants or traveling in my free time.
