Film Streams, a nonprofit arts organization that oversees the Ruth Sokolof Theater and the historic Dundee Theater, is offering UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees a chance to purchase a membership in September.
Individual memberships are offered at $50 per person. A discounted rate of $35 is offered to seniors (60+), teachers, students, military and first responders.
Dual memberships are offered at $100. A discounted rate of $75 is offered to seniors (60+), teachers, students, military and first responders.
Individual membership benefits include:
- One member price ticket per visit for films at the Ruth Sokolof Theater and Dundee Theater
- 20% discount off concessions at both cinemas

Dual memberships consist of all the benefits above, with:
- Two member-price tickets per visit
- Member-price tickets for family members under 18
Employees at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine who purchase a membership during the month of September also will receive two free movie tickets after joining.
The two cinemas host a variety of programs within five areas: New releases, classics, education, community collaborations and special programs.
