How I fell in love with my specialty: I initially pursued my postgraduate training in internal medicine with aspirations of becoming a cardiologist. Little did I know that my second-year neurology rotation would be a life-changing experience. That rotation provided an unparalleled exposure to the advances in neurological care and a completely different perception of the field of neurology. It was then I fervently decided to pursue neurology.
Memberships:
- American Academy of Neurology
- American Stroke Association
Three things people may not know about me:
- I have four first names.
- I was an Optimist sailor in high school.
- If I didn’t pursue a career in medicine, I would likely be a certified coffee specialist.
