Why did you choose the medical field?
I chose the medical field because during my time as a nursing assistant I found I really liked being with and taking care of patients. Additionally, I felt becoming a physician would enable me to have a long, fulfilling career where I would be able to positively impact many people’s lives.
What made you choose anesthesiology?
I chose anesthesiology because I liked the combination of cerebral and procedural components. I also really liked taking care of patients perioperatively through what can be a very stressful time for them.
