UNMC’s intramural leagues are back for the summer, and there are options for participants of all activity levels. Intramural leagues are athletic competitions organized for UNMC and Nebraska Medicine faculty, staff, students and their families (parents, spouses and children). Teams also may have a limited number of non-UNMC or Nebraska Medicine individuals.
Sign up deadlines vary; see below.
Sand Volleyball (six vs. six)
- Held Mondays at O’Leavers from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
- Cost per team: $150 registration fee
- Divisions: Co-rec
- Nine-week season; first game June 3
- Sign up for the sand volleyball league; registration deadline is May 17.
Pickleball (two vs. two)
- Held Tuesdays at the Center for Healthy Living gym from 5:30-10 p.m.
- Cost per team: $20 registration fee
- Divisions: Doubles recreation
- Twelve-week season, league play begins May 14
- Sign up for the pickleball league; registration deadline is May 3.
Golf (four vs. four)
- Held Thursdays at Elmwood Park Golf Course; 5:15 p.m. tee time
- Cost per team: $65 registration fee and $80 green fee/week/per team.
- Divisions: open recreation, 17 team limit.
- Length of season is based on the number of teams that play; first game May 9
- Sign up for the golf league; registration deadline is May 2.
Soccer (seven vs. seven)
- Held Thursdays at La Vista Sports Complex from 5-9 p.m.
- Team registration fee: $140
- Divisions: coed recreation, eight team limit
- Eight-week season, first game May 9
- Sign up for the soccer league; registration deadline is May 2.
Softball (10 vs. 10)
- Held Fridays at La Vista Sports Complex from 6-10 p.m.
- Team Registration Fee: $140
- Divisions: coed recreation, eight team limit
- Eight-week season; first game May 31
- Sign up for the softball league; registration deadline May 17.
How to sign up
Captains must create a team through EZLEAGUES. Once they have, they should pay the registration fee online or at the front desk of the Center for Healthy Living and then instruct their teammates to register as members of the team.
