UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, will give his annual address to the faculty at the UNMC Faculty Senate annual meeting next week. His address is titled, “From Excellent to Exceptional: A Decade-Long Journey.”
Dr. Gold became UNMC’s eighth chancellor on Feb. 1, 2014, as well as chair of the board of UNMC’s principal clinical care academic health system partner, Nebraska Medicine.
The annual meeting will be Tuesday, April 16, at 3 p.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium. A Zoom link is available to UNMC on the UNMC Faculty Senate annual meeting webpage.
Recipients of this year’s faculty awards for meritorious teaching and mentoring also will be honored during the meeting, along with faculty honored with awards for years of service. Read more about the honorees for the UNMC Faculty Awards here.
