UNMC’s Employee Appreciation Day is today

UNMC Human Resources is hosting an Employee Appreciation Day for the campus today (March 1) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by the UNMC Chancellor’s Office.

The event coincides with National Employee Appreciation Day, which was created in 1995 to recognize and show appreciation for all the important contributions employees make to organizations across the country.

“We want to mark the day by recognizing all our UNMC faculty and staff and everything they do to make UNMC a great workplace,” said Sarah Gloden Carlson, assistant vice chancellor and director for human resources, “We’ve got great activities planned, so all employees are encouraged to join in.”

Link to Talent Show is not working at this time 11:44am for me. Have tried several times. Would really like to view the Talent Show since I’m not on the Omaha campus.

Thank you to those who planned this event and the volunteers across campus. It takes ‘a village’ to bring it all together.
