Calling all talent! UNMC Human Resources is announcing plans for UNMC’s first Employee Appreciation Day event — including an employee talent show — to be held on March 1 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
This event coincides with National Employee Appreciation Day, which was created in 1995 to recognize and show appreciation for the important contributions employees make to organizations across the country.
All UNMC employees are invited to celebrate Employee Appreciation Day at one of three locations across campus. Free lunch will be provided, and there will be themed fun activities, games, special prizes and gifts.
The celebrations set for the Omaha campus will occur at the same time and will include the same lunch items, prizes and gifts. Each location will feature a different theme and fun activities:
- Wellness theme at the Durham Research Center: Activities include yoga, financial representatives, chair massages and meditation.
- Game time at the Center for Healthy Living: Activities include a music DJ, cornhole, ladder ball, ping pong and minute-to-win-it competitions.
- Talent show at the Wigton Heritage Center: Activities include an employee talent show that will be live streamed to the other locations.
All UNMC employees are eligible to participate in the talent show. Register now to show off your talents and win an amazing prize. To participate, please complete the registration form by Feb. 9.
