Six student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNAs) who trained alongside UNMC Department of Anesthesiology CRNAs recently completed their program’s clinical requirements and were awarded Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) degrees from Clarkson College.
Beatrice Pradhan completed the program’s clinical requirements at Nebraska Medicine and will join the Department of Anesthesiology as a CRNA in February.
“SRNAs graduating with clinical experience from Nebraska Medicine are equipped with the skills to care for high acuity patients presenting with unique comorbidities,” said Jaime Kobs, SRNA Education Committee member. “We welcome Beatrice to our Nebraska Medicine family, and to the students going outside of Nebraska Medicine, those other hospitals have gained skilled CRNAs, and they are so fortunate to have you.”
