UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, is speaking out on the importance of the future of innovation as part of the Council on Competitiveness’ Competing in the Next Economy campaign.
As part of the organization’s video campaign, Dr. Gold declares in a new post: “The way we’re going to accelerate innovation and, therefore, competitiveness in our nation and on the global stage is by cutting free and liberating the future workforce.”

Dr. Gold, who also serves as executive vice president and provost for the University of Nebraska System, explains how the NU system is advancing the heath care workforce. Today (Nov. 7), Dr. Gold’s comments have been included on the Council on Competitiveness website.
