How I fell in love with nursing and research: I fell in love with nursing and research on accident. The experiences I had during my greatest moments of failure turned into opportunities I never dreamed of. I love teaching students and making content relatable. I also love being able to use my research and nursing skills to improve the care women receive, specifically for urinary incontinence. This work is impactful and meaningful, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Education:
- PhD, UNMC College of Nursing, 2023
- BSN, UNMC College of Nursing, 2018

Three things people might not know about me:
- I am an avid baker. My interest in baking is strongly correlated with the complication of a recipe. My sourdough starter, Jane Dough, has fed a lot of people.
- I started my undergraduate career as a vocal performance major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
- I love spending time hiking and traversing the many trails in the Omaha metro.
I hope we work together again in the future, Dr. Klein. Well deserved, my friend.
