This week, UNMC’s Eppley Science Hall will be the site of a multi-day, mock training exercise for public safety’s law enforcement and campus security officers. As a result, the campus will see an increased presence of officers in the building.
Scheduled Aug. 15-17, the exercise will run participants through a variety of training and drills on the 10th floor of Eppley Science Hall during workday and non-workday hours. A walk-through of the building is planned for today in preparation of the activity.
The training activity is being provided by the Office of Radiological Services, out of the Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology and Training Center in the Y-12 National Security Complex in Tennessee.
