Registration is open until Friday, Aug 11, for the 2023 Midwest Radiation Oncology Symposium, a hybrid symposium hosted by UNMC on Aug. 18-19 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m.

The symposium will provideĀ all members of the interdisciplinary oncology team with education and training on recent advances in radiation oncology, physics and biology. The conference agenda is available online at this link.
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for medical physicists, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, nurses, physicians, fellows, residents and students.
Keynote speakers will be:
- Eric Ford, PhD, director and vice-chair of medical physics and George E. Laramore, MD PhD Endowed Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Washington in Seattle.
- Jeff Michalski, MD, Carlos A. Perez Distinguished Professor, vice chair and director of clinical programs, Department of Radiation Oncology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
Chi Lin, MD, PhD, professor and vice chair of research in the UNMC Department of Radiation Oncology, is course director of the symposium. The UNMC Center for Continuing Education is providing continuing education credit for the symposium.
