McGoogan Library receives online resource award
In May, the McGoogan Health Sciences Library was awarded the Librarians, Archivists and Museum Professionals in the History of the Health Sciences (LAMPHHS) 2023 Best Online Resource Award in recognition of The Wigton Heritage Center: A Digital Experience.
The online museum provides all UNMC students, faculty and staff with access to the depth and breadth of history preserved in the McGoogan Library, as well as worldwide public access to UNMC’s history and the history of the health sciences and health professions in Nebraska.
Each year, LAMPHHS honors awardees for Best Monograph, Best Article and Best Online Resource. Each nomination must relate to the history of the health care sciences or the management of historical collections in the health care sciences.
