Discounts available for Rose Theater, Omaha Children’s Museum

The Rose Theater and Omaha Children’s Museum membership drives are under way through June 30. During the drives, UNMC faculty, staff and students can receive discounts on family memberships.

The Rose Theater

For $125 for a family of four, members will receive:

  • Four free tickets to each of the six regular season shows.
  • Discounts on tickets to the Rose’s two premium-event shows, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.”
  • Registration fee waived for students taking musical theater, drama, dance, voice and acting classes at the Rose. 

The 2023-2024 regular season shows include:

  • “Arthur & Friends Make a Musical”
  • “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me”
  • “Night at the Farm – A Bedtime Party”
  • “Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds”
  • “Red Riding Hood”
  • “Charlotte’s Web”

Omaha Children’s Museum

During the drive, UNMC faculty, staff and employees will receive $10 off new memberships and $15 off membership renewals on family and grandparent memberships. Benefits of membership include:

  • Unlimited, free admission to the museum.
  • Discounts on campus, birthday parties and museum store purchases.
  • Discounted admission to more than 250 other children’s museums and science centers.

Exhibits for the 2023 season include:

  • “A Generation of Hope: Indigenous Peoples of the Heartland,” running until Sept. 3.
  • “Jurassic Nebraska,” running until January 7, 2024.
  • “Cobweb Castle,” running Sept. 21-Oct. 31, 2023

Representatives from both organizations will be at UNMC on Wednesday, June 21, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. during a community partner fair to answer questions.
