The med center’s Parking Services, photo ID office and Public Safety Support Services that handle cameras, access badges and campus keys will be relocating out of the Student Life Center next week.
Starting next Friday (June 16, 2023), those services will be located and available in UNMC’s 4230 Building, not in the Student Life Center.
The move is due to the ongoing construction of the new Student Health Clinic at the Student Life Center, said Chris Ehlers, facilities project manager with UNMC Facilities Management and Planning.
Those offices will be closed June 13, 14 and 15 – next Tuesday through Thursday – to move and reestablish their systems, Ehlers said. The offices are scheduled to reopen in their new location on Friday, June 16.
The parking office, photo ID office and public safety support services will be located on Level 3 of the 4230 Building, which is the upstairs floor off the main entrance to the building. Visitors can use an elevator or stairs to reach the offices.
The 4230 Building’s address is 4230 Leavenworth Street, but it is accessible via the entry door on the north side of the building. The 4230 Building’s parking lot also is north of the building and accessible off 42nd Street just north of Leavenworth Street.
Nine parking stalls will be available for visitors to the offices.
