Join For the Greater Good to fuel the future of health care

There still is time to make an impact during this year’s third annual For the Greater Good before giving closes at noon today (Thursday, March 27).

The 24-hour giving day, which kicked off at noon on Wednesday, already has brought together the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine community to support a variety of critical areas. This includes departmental funds within Nebraska Medicine, dozens of unique UNMC scholarship funds and nearly 50 recognized student organizations.

Donors can join this effort to fuel the future of health care in Nebraska by making a gift at For the Greater Good online.

Faculty, staff and students can make an even larger impact toward areas important to them during this morning’s power hour from 9-10 a.m. The area that receives the most faculty and staff donors during that hour will receive $1,000. Students have the chance to unlock a $2,500 gift to support scholarships from UNMC Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, if 100 students donate to any area during giving day.

Also, don’t miss out on a free cup of coffee from The Chocolate Season coffee truck outside the Durham Research Center from 8:30-11 a.m.
