Potential shines in MMI’s 2024 annual report

The Munroe-Meyer Institute

The Munroe-Meyer Institute has released its annual report, showcasing the institute’s work to help uncover unrealized potential of the children and adults it served on a daily basis over the past year.

See the online report at this link.

The 2024 report highlights MMI efforts, such as how an autism diagnostic tool is helping reduce long wait times and how the opening of the first Autism Care for Toddlers Clinic outside of the Omaha metro will impact area residents. It also spotlights a team of researchers exploring a newly discovered condition called Fetal Fentanyl Syndrome; young adults connecting to employment through MMI’s Practical Assessment Exploration System Lab; and how art continues to be part of the healing process at the institute.

In his director’s message, Karoly Mirnics, MD, PhD, writes:

“These projects, like many others around MMI, are a collaborative effort, requiring input from families, employees, community members and community partners. We could not do this without you.”
