Dr. Dunbar Matos to discuss ‘Hypertension in Women’

Christina Dunbar Matos, DO, will give a virtual presentation on “Hypertension in Women” on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at noon.

This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health and UNMC College of Nursing webinar series. It will be the first of three presentations for the Heart Health Series collaboration between the Olson Center and the Nebraska Medicine Cardiovascular Services. 

Dr. Dunbar Matos is an assistant professor in the UNMC Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Nebraska Medicine’s medical director for cardiovascular telemetry and cardiac rehab.

The presentation will provide participants with information on key risk factors for hypertension and will explore effective management strategies for hypertension, including lifestyle modifications and medical interventions. Those who attend will learn more about the DASH diet and its impact on management of hypertension and heart disease.
