De-Stress Week: Moments to relax and refresh

The local pet therapy group Paws for Friendship made an appearance at the Sorrell Center for the "Pups and Bagels" event.

In December, UNMC held its winter De-Stress Week. Created in 2019, De-Stress Week provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to take a minute to relax through a variety of events and activities before the end of the semester.

Students were challenged to take a selfie when completing an assigned De-Stress task, such as getting a hot drink or using the massage chair in the Zen Zone.

Pediatric donation drive and hot chocolate station, UNMC Omaha campus

This year, the drive provided more than $450 worth of donations to the Nebraska Medicine pediatric unit. Thanks to everyone who helped support this year’s drive.
