In honor of Native American Heritage Month, a special Zoom presentation will feature Kameron Runnels, vice chairman of the Santee Sioux Nation. It is scheduled for Nov. 21 at noon.
Runnels, who is shaping the future of his people while honoring the traditions of the past, will share his experiences, insights and reflections on his role as a leader in the Santee Sioux community and his commitment to preserving Dakota culture and traditions.
In this presentation, Runnels will discuss the significance of community service, the importance of cultural preservation and the ongoing work of the Santee Sioux Nation in navigating both present challenges and future opportunities.
