How I fell in love with my specialty:
Allergy and immunology is a unique field that allows for longitudinal connections with patients and their families. You get the chance to take care of kids as well as parents. It also is a constantly evolving field that encompasses anything from “bread and butter” cases to those with a more complex pathophysiology.
