One more ‘Operation Immunization’ clinic set for Wednesday

A patient receiving a flu shot

If you haven’t yet received your flu shot, UNMC pharmacist interns are offering one extra, final “Operation Immunization” vaccination clinic Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The clinic is set for 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the UNMC College of Pharmacy’s PDD simulation labs (lower-level southeast side of the pharmacy building). Vaccines are available on a walk-in basis and free to all UNMC faculty, students and staff. Please bring your UNMC ID.

Operation Immunization is a unique collaboration between the UNMC College of Pharmacy, student health, family medicine, employee health and the UNMC chapter of the American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists.

Other remaining drop-in vaccine clinics

Two more influenza vaccination clinics will be held at Nebraska Medical Center, lower Storz Pavilion, on a drop-in basis – no advanced scheduling is required. Fill out the influenza questionnaire on the Health Tracking System before you arrive and bring your ID badge with you.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 13, 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 14, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

UNMC faculty, staff and students and Nebraska Medicine colleagues are expected to document their influenza and COVID-19 vaccination status in the Health Tracking System

If you receive the vaccine from an on-site clinic or through your clinical area, it will automatically be recorded for you.

Log in to the Health Tracking System to record if you received the vaccination elsewhere (pharmacy, physician’s office, etc.) or declined the vaccination and provide a reason for declination.
