NU alumni are invited to attend the second annual Nebraska Career Catalyst, a conference featuring expert faculty and alumni presenters from the University of Nebraska’s four campuses. The event will be Monday, Nov. 18, at the Thompson Alumni Center at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Conference attendees will have opportunities to network and participate in unique, interactive learning sessions focused on workplace soft skills, management best-practices and professional development.
Three UNMC faculty members will present at the conference. Matthew Tao, MD, associate professor in the UNMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, will lead a session on “Building Team Success.” Stacy Smallfield, DrOT, and Erin Westover, OTD, faculty members in the UNMC Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, will lead a session on “Taking Care of Yourself: Daily Strategies for Optimizing Workplace Well-Being.”
