MRI mobile unit installation on Oct. 26
A section of Dewey Avenue will be blocked for a portion of Saturday, Oct. 26. Starting at 6 a.m., Oct. 25, the section of Dewey Avenue between 44th and 45th streets, just north of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, will be closed so that a crane can place the MRI mobile unit next to the PET/CT mobile unit.
All emergency department traffic will need to use the 44th and Farnam street access. Traffic signs will be placed at 42nd and Emile streets, 44th and Emile streets, and Emile Street and Saddle Creek Road to make people aware. Area emergency services have been contacted by the emergency department.
