How I fell in love with emergency medicine: While I was shadowing as an undergrad in Ames, Iowa, I was paired with an emergency medicine physician. I admired how he was able to form quick relationships with his patients, build trust and be there for them on their worst days. I find it incredibly rewarding to be there for anyone, for anything, at any time and am happy to be able to do this at Nebraska Medicine.
