Paul Sorgen, PhD

Dear Nebraska INBRE researchers and students,

I hope the academic year is off to a great start for each of you, and that you had a productive and rejuvenating summer. Your commitment to advancing biomedical research and education is invaluable, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge all the hard work and dedication you bring to the Nebraska INBRE program. From lab research to student mentoring, your contributions make a real difference in strengthening our state’s research capabilities and addressing important health challenges.

I also want to extend my deepest thanks for your support in the recent efforts to renew our grant. Your input, data and collaborative spirit were crucial in shaping a strong proposal, and I appreciate the time and energy you invested in making it possible. This renewal will ensure we continue to provide resources, mentorship and opportunities for students and researchers alike, helping us sustain and grow our collective impact in the years to come. Let’s build on this momentum and make the most of the exciting opportunities ahead.
