Starting today (Oct. 14) at noon Central Time, the IT Service Desk will transition entirely to internal support. This change aims to enhance the service delivery and provide more customized assistance for UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.
Users will continue calling 402-559-7700. But it no longer will be necessary to select options 1 or 2 — all calls will be directed straight to the internal IT Service Desk team.
By centralizing support functions, the team hopes to improve response times, foster better teamwork and offer a more personalized IT support experience.
Non-urgent service desk tickets can be submitted through the IT ServiceNow Portal.
