Services scheduled for Tom McDonald, PhD

Funeral services for Tom McDonald, PhD, will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m.

Dr. McDonald, a professor in the UNMC Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology, led at 45-year career at UNMC. He was an expert researcher in the study of inflammation and a beloved medical school teacher in the field of immunology. He died Oct. 2.

The funeral and interment will be at Holy Angels Mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery, located at 7800 West Center Road, northwest of 78^th Street and West Center Road in Omaha.

Following the interment, friends are invited to visit at Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler, 7805 West Center Road, from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
