Legislative candidate Jared Storm, who is running to represent District 23, which includes Saunders, Colfax and the majority of Butler counties, visited UNMC on Sep. 17.
Storm received a tour of the iEXCEL program from Moriah McCune, iEXCEL’s community engagement coordinator, and an overview of the training opportunities at the facility, including the holographic theater, clinical simulation rooms and the surgical simulation area.
Storm said he was impressed by the innovative technology and collaborative capabilities.
“It’s a testament to the best health care in the nation,” he said. “Very impressive. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about UNMC.”
