Registration is open for the Great Plains IDeA-CTR’s 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting, scheduled for Oct. 21 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Scott Conference Center.
This event is part of the NIH-funded Great Plains IDeA-Clinical Translational Research (CTR) Network’s eighth annual meeting, with the theme “Leveraging AI and Innovative Study Designs to Transform Healthcare and Improve Patient Outcomes.” The meeting, which includes a livestream or in-person option, is free and open to all UNMC and network partner faculty, staff, students and the public.
Attendees can earn up to five continuing education credits for participation, making this a valuable opportunity for professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and credentials.
Featured speakers and key topics include:
- Chris Lindsell, PhD, of Duke University: Emerging clinical trial designs and the role of AI.
- Erin Iturriaga, DNP, of the National Institutes of Health: Pathways from basic science to transformative technologies for health care.
- Susan Gregurick, PhD, of the National Institutes of Health Office of the Director: High-impact data-centric programs and NIH funding opportunities.
- Glen Hazlewood, MD, PhD, of the University of Calgary: Advances in guidelines and systematic literature reviews using AI.
Additionally, a panel of experts from network partners will discuss best practices in health data curation, sharing and management, providing insights into the future of health care innovation.
