Roxie Kracl, a legislative candidate for District 15, toured the medical center in September.
Kracl met with UNMC Interim Chancellor Dele Davies, MD, and toured the iEXCEL program, including the holographic theater and the advanced clinical simulation floor, with iEXCEL’s Moriah McCune.
Kracl, who is running in a district includes Dodge County and Valley, said she was pleased to learn more about how UNMC programs are using technology to extend their reach across Nebraska.
“The technology — It’s amazing. And I think it excites students,” Kracl said. “Any student who’s looking to go into medical field, if they walked into this facility, would say this is top notch.”
