Beginning Oct. 1, Dr. Jessie Cox will become our new residency director. Dr. Cox, who was a former resident and chief resident in our department, is excited to work with our current residents to help them realize career goals and, in addition, is looking forward to expanding our residency program to meet the demand for qualified pathologists in the coming years. Dr. Cox would like to thank Drs. Scott Lauer and Geoffrey Talmon for their leadership in placing the program on a great foundation, and he would also like to thank Kim Martin and Dani Blum for all their efforts in taking care of our residents and ensuring our program remains in compliance with ACGME standards.
