Webinar will discuss ‘taking charge of your brain’

Diane Hendricks, a medical social worker with Nebraska Medicine, will present “Taking Charge of Your Brain at Any Age: It’s Never Too Late!” on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at noon via Zoom. This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health and UNMC College of Nursing webinar series. 

The presentation will provide participants with information on the differences between normal aging and signs of dementia. Those who attend also will learn more about the impact of lifestyle choices on promoting a healthy brain. Responsibilities of health care professionals in early detection and treatment of cognitive changes will be discussed.

The Olson Center offers similar webinars four times a year. Following the online live event, the video is uploaded to the Olson Center website, and nursing credit for this webinar offering is available for one year at no charge.
