How I fell in love with neurology and neurocritical care: The rapid advancements in acute neurology and ability to improve the quality of life of patients and families with new treatment options and team-based multidisciplinary approach continue to inspire me daily within neurocritical care. Meeting with families to understand people for more than their disease and continuing to work with the wide spectrum of team members in the hospital excite me as I join the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine team.
