The Nebraska Medical Choir is looking for new members who enjoy singing and want to share their love of music with others.
The medical choir is kicking off its fall concert cycle, with rehearsals starting in September. This group is open to all UNMC and Nebraska Medicine colleagues, as well as their family and friends.
It’s a great way to connect with others, have fun and make beautiful music together. There is no cost to join, and singers of all levels are welcome.
Rehearsals are held Mondays from 6-7 p.m. at the Truhlsen Campus Events Center. The room opens at 5:45 p.m. Rehearsals run Sept. 9 through Dec. 2, with no rehearsals on Oct. 21 or Nov. 25.
The winter concert is scheduled for Dec. 4 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Strauss Performing Arts Center Christensen Concert Hall. A dress rehearsal for the concert will be Dec. 2 at the Strauss Performing Arts Center.
The repertoire this cycle will include a mix of carols, winter songs and secular music. If interested in joining, complete this survey by Friday, Aug. 30.
Congratulations! My only regret is that I am not there to participate. Have a great year!
