Huntington’s disease focus of Aug. 13 event

Amy Hellman, MD, will present “Huntington’s Disease: Current Approaches and Future Directions” on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at noon through Zoom. This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health and UNMC College of Nursing webinar series. 

Dr. Hellman, an associate professor in the UNMC Department of Nerological Sciences, will discuss the symptoms and genetics of Huntington’s disease. She will cover current symptom management as well as potential future treatments in development.
