Jill Luebbert, APRN-CRNA, DNP, is a new CRNA with the UNMC Department of Anesthesiology.

Hometown: Omaha

What drew me to anesthesiology: Being able to focus solely on a single patient and provide excellent care to them while using my critical thinking skills and empathy. The field is literally an art.

Education background:

  • Bachelor of biological science with a minor in psychology – UNL
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing – UNMC
  • Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia – Bryan Health

Professional Memberships:

  • Nebraska Association of Nurse Anesthetists
  • American Association of Nurse Anesthetists

Team Miller or Team Mac? Miller, but both are used.

What are you most looking forward to as you join the department? I’m looking forward to figuring out my way in anesthesia by taking everything I learned from the fabulous CRNAs who trained me over the past three years.

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I enjoy gardening, painting, cooking and traveling.
  • I married a pig farmer, Cody, and we live outside of West Point, Nebraska.
  • I have two dogs and a cat — Lola, Carl and Bob.
