Emerging professionals group holding school supply drive

A collection of donated school supply items

The UNMC and Nebraska Medicine Emerging Professionals Program (EPP) invites colleagues to join the group at its upcoming activities, including a campuswide school-supply drive.

EPP enables early and experienced professionals to grow through educational activities, engage in the community and contribute to the mission of the organization.

Since its launch back in 2017, the group has hosted numerous professional development events, given more than 690 hours back to the community and grown to nearly 650 members.

The program is open to all colleagues and students at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. For more information on how to get involved, visit the EPP website.

Today (July 9), noon to 1 p.m., membership forum via Zoom

Hosted on a quarterly basis, the membership forums provide an opportunity for members and non-members to catch up on what the program has been doing and learn about upcoming events.

This quarter, representatives from Completely Kids, the Down Syndrome Alliance of the Midlands and Partnership 4 Kids will be in attendance. Each representative will provide an overview of their respective organization, how they serve the Omaha metro and ways to get involved.
