Construction along Saddle Creek Road continues

traffic safety roadwork signs and light

Street work along Saddle Creek Road remains on schedule, nearing its halfway mark.

During the week of July 8, the contractor for the City of Omaha will shift traffic to new pavement on the west side of Saddle Creek Road between Farnam and Leavenworth Streets. This will enable OPPD and MUD crews to begin utility work along the east side of Saddle Creek Road (between Farnam and Leavenworth Street). Once utility work is complete, the contractor will repave the east portion of Saddle Creek Road, which will allow for the return of two lanes of north- and southbound traffic.

Street construction – around Saddle Creek Road and Leavenworth Street – will continue into December.

When will saddle creek and Leavenworth from 50th to 36 be completed? It is very intrusive and drivers are getting fruatrated.
